The service

Rotwise scans GitHub repositories you connect, reports technical debt, and proposes fixes as pull requests that you review and approve. Rotwise is an early-stage product. Features, limits, and plans may change, and we will tell you about material changes in advance.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite into your organization. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your code and permissions

You confirm that you have the right to grant Rotwise access to every repository you connect. You keep full ownership of your code. You grant us a limited license to access, copy, and process it only as needed to provide the service. We never modify your default branch, and we never open a pull request without your explicit approval.

Proposed fixes are suggestions

Findings and proposed fixes are generated by automated analysis, including AI models, and can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing every change before you approve and merge it. We do not guarantee that Rotwise finds every issue in your code or that a proposed fix is free of errors.

Acceptable use

• Only connect repositories you are authorized to scan and modify.
• Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass the security of the service.
• Do not reverse engineer the service or resell access without our written permission.
• Do not use the service to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.

Plans and billing

The Free Scan plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel first. Each plan has usage limits that we enforce. You can cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give you at least thirty days notice before any price change applies to you.

Intellectual property

Rotwise and its software, design, and content belong to us. Your code belongs to you, and any fix you approve becomes part of your code. We claim no rights in it.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rotwise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using Rotwise and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk. When an account ends, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will email account owners before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
